Teal was just certified in 3 new extension methods!

Education is huge at Teal. For us, it doesn't stop once you graduate.

In February, we took a

Mesh Integration, Topper class & V Light Extension Class

What are they?

Mesh Integration is a method of extensions that use a piece of mesh to add strength to areas of the head where hair is missing to add stability for additional extensions and cover bald spots or thinning hair.

A topper is a small section of hair that can apply to the top of the head without shaving your hair that adds volume and an natural hairline.

V light extensions are a strand by strand method able to apply to the part, hair line and crown to fill in areas traditional extensions cannot.

QUESTIONS? send us an email or fill out our Extension Consult form on our website so we can call you!

Color Analysis now offered at Teal!!

Jack will offer color analysis starting mid March! This service offers you a chance to see what colors truly work for you! There will be a limited time offer of 50% off this service, so get it while you can!

 A little about color analysis

A color analysis is a one-on-one session with a color professional who will help determine which colors bring out the best in you. Wearing the best colors for you will create a healthier look to your skin tone and draw your attention back to your eyes. Knowing your colors is a valuable tool to have for life, as it takes the guesswork out of choosing colors for clothing, hair, makeup and accessories! Color Analysis is listed under "Other" services.

                  Pricing

              1 hour, $200

(this mini session will give you a basic color palette that compliments you)

              2 hours, $350

(This option takes color analysis to the next level & expands it into 16 palettes! We also narrow down which colors you should rock based on your unique undertone)

Local Events/ Things to do

Events to get you through the last weeks of winter or to start off spring

When Spring finally makes its way...

Boston Victory Garden

In a 7-acre plot at the north end of the Back Bay Fens, a large park designed in the 1900s by Frederick Law Olmsted as part of his "Emerald Necklace," a series of linked parks circling Boston.

Wide paths divide the gardens into 4 large sections, with narrow lanes (sort of like alleys) giving access to interior gardens. Once you're in the interior, you'll forget you're in the city.

Candlelight concert in Boston

Candlelight®, the series of live concerts produced by Fever, is bringing special shows to celebrate the season of love in the US.

Dutch-Oven Rasin Walnut Bread

Ingredients

  • All purpose flour

  • sugar

  • active dry yeast

  • cinnoman

  • rasins

  • walnuts

  • water

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk 6 cups of the flour, the sugar, yeast, cinnamon and salt. Stir in the raisins and walnuts, then add water and enough of the remaining flour to form a moist, shaggy dough. Do not knead.

  2. cover the dough and let it rise in a cool place until it’s doubled, seven to eight hours

  3. Preheat the oven to 450°. Place a Dutch oven with a lid on the center rack of the oven and heat it for at least 30 minutes. Once the Dutch oven is heated, turn the dough onto a generously floured surface. Using a metal scraper or spatula, quickly shape it into a round loaf. Gently place it on top of a piece of parchment.

  4. Using a sharp knife, make a 1/4-inch-deep slash across the top of the loaf. Using the parchment, immediately lower the loaf into the heated Dutch oven. Cover the pan, and bake the bread for 30 minutes. Uncover the pan, and bake again until the loaf is deep golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped, 20 to 30 minutes longer (partially cover the pan if the bread is browning too much). Remove the loaf from the Dutch oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
