Meet Christina! She loves collaborating with her team, spending time with family, and obsesses over her Rottie pup, Gunner. To her, her studio is a special place where she can connect with clients and deliver their hair goals on a level that is achievable for them. Christina found her love for hair the industry at a very young age. After graduating she followed through with a college degree but knew she was meant for something much bigger. She broke into the beauty industry where she began her career working in a salon, behind the scenes in Boston Fashion Week, and eventually as an educator + platform artist . As she evolved, she took a leap of faith and opened TEAL in 2012 dreaming of having an inclusive space where stylists could collaborate openly and where education was a major foundation for growth. Today she leads her team + coaches other beauty professionals to build a business and team they LOVE! She is a blonde hair + dimensional color specialist, and a hair extension specialist with a huge focus on fine and thinning hair. Blonding & extensions “feed her soul” and deliver impactful confidence and happiness to each one of her guests.
When she’s not trying a new trendy restaurant with her fam, shopping with her besties or hitting up a hot yoga class, you will find her listening to entrepreneurship podcasts & soaking up as much education as she can. She is certified in multiple methods including NBR, invisible/illusion sew in methods, K-tips, micro mini bonded extensions and Tape- In extensions. She loves to lead + is passionate about coaching others to practice their healthiest and wealthiest lifestyle. Lydia has been following her passion for the beauty industry for the last 10 years. And almost all of those years have been with the team at Teal. Starting as an assistant, she has worked her way up to a senior stylist position, as well as wedding coordinator and now educator for our in salon training program. She loves taking classes outside the salon and keeping up with what’s going on in the industry whether it be trends, techniques, or business.
Her favorite services to perform in salon are lived in color services. She loves creating low maintenance, dimensional color that makes clients look and feel amazing. She also specializes in wedding hair and makeup. It’s actually one of the reasons she wanted to join the beauty industry.
She loves traveling to all different locations across New England and being part of helping someone look and feel their best on such a special day. When she’s not behind the chair she loves spending time with her family, being by the water, and watching the housewives on Bravo.

Julia has been a stylist for 7 years. She is our Invisible bead extension (IBE) stylist and is training to be a master technician in IBE. She has been specializing in extensions for over 6 years. She loves seeing the happiness a hair change can make, either with extensions or color.
Julia’s individuality shows through her edgy style. She loves to thrift shop & anyone who knows her well knows she has always had a love for vintage VW buses.
When you sit in her chair you will get someone who is an extremely good listener. Even though she is more of an introvert, she loves to be with people. Her main goal with every guest is to make their hair dream come to life. Choosing a hair stylist is a BIG decision. Her journey began as a young girl in her nana’s salon, where her love for creativity and artistry blossomed, leading her to pursue advanced training in hair extension and coloring techniques.

Marissa has been a stylist for 5 years and she has never been more in love with her craft. She specializes in lived in color, color transformations and curl cuts. She’s here to curate a personalized hair care routine that caters to your needs and works for your lifestyle now and in between visits to keep you looking beautiful all year round.
When she’s not in the salon she’s exploring the area, from hiking to trying new restaurants, she’s always looking for new and exciting experiences. When she’s feeling low key, she loves to spend her time with a good book.

After 8 years in business management, Leah decided it was time for a change and chose to pursue her career behind the chair at TEAL. The atmosphere, creativity and unique experiences with our guests are what she loves most about being in the salon!
She loves lived-in blonding, dimensional color, extensions, and also men’s haircuts. She is a certified Bellami extension artist, specializing in sew-in weft applications, and is always ready to help her clients achieve their dream hair! She is constantly working to expand her skillset, stay up to date with current trends, and has a passion for educating her guests on how to recreate the styles they receive while in her chair.
When she’s not working on her craft, Leah loves to cook and spend time with her husband and two german shepherds, taking trips to the coast of Maine or White Mountains of New Hampshire.

When Emma is not at the studio, she enjoys taking up new adventures with her friends, spending time with her family and obsessing over her golden retriever, Bentley … all while having a Starbucks refresher in hand!
Level 2 Stylist, Lived in Color/Balayage, Bridal Hair and Makeup, Vivid Color
With seven years of experience behind the chair, Annie brings a warm, creative energy to every appointment. She’s passionate about continued education, always growing her craft, and is excited to build a bright future with Teal. Annie loves creating lived-in balayage, fun and vibrant fashion colors, and big transformational looks that make guests feel renewed and confident.
Personable, chill, and endlessly supportive, she’s the kind of stylist who instantly feels like a friend. Annie is a natural cheerleader for both her guests and her team, making every visit uplifting and easygoing. When she’s not at the studio, you’ll probably find her reading a good book, enjoying live music, caring for her sugar gliders, practicing her French, or exploring her hometown of Haverhill.

With over 25 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist and previous experience helping open and establish a salon, Jess brings a high level of operational expertise to our leadership team. Her extensive time "behind the chair" gives her a practical, results-driven perspective on salon management and client satisfaction.
Beyond her professional credentials, Jess is a mother of three who brings a fantastic sense of humor and a vibrant personality to our team culture.

Katherine is a stylist at Teal Hair and Makeup Studio with a strong passion for the beauty industry and helping clients feel confident and radiant. She loves being a part of each guest’s experience and is dedicated to learning and growing behind the chair. Her favorite services are hair cutting and styling, polishing a perfected cut lights her up!
Katherine has a special interest in both hair and makeup, with a goal of becoming a bridal specialist in the future. She is always eager to expand her skills and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of beauty.
In her free time, Katherine enjoys staying active, has extensive dance experience, is a total foodie and loves expressing her creativity through hands-on, crafty projects.
