CHRISTINA TRUSCELLO
Owner, Level 6 Hair & Makeup Artist+ Extension Specialist

Meet Christina! She loves collaborating with her team, spending time with family, and obsesses over her Rottie pup, Gunner. To her, her studio is a special place where she can connect with clients and deliver their hair goals on a level that is achievable for them.  Christina found her love for hair the industry at a very young age. After graduating she followed through with a college degree but knew she was meant for something much bigger. She followed her heart and broke into the beauty industry where she began her career working in a salon, behind the scenes in Boston Fashion Week, and eventually as an educator + platform artist where she found an immense love for teaching and sharing her knowledge. As she evolved, she took a leap of faith and opened TEAL in 2012 dreaming of having an inclusive space where stylists could collaborate openly and where education was a major foundation for growth. Today she leads her team and specializing in blonding/dimensional color + extensions. She specifically focuses on these fields as it “feeds her soul” and delivers a impactful confidence and happiness to each one of her guests.  

When she’s not trying a new trendy restaurant with her fam, shopping with her besties or hitting up a hot yoga class, you will find her listening to entrepreneurship podcasts & soaking up as much education as she can. She is certified in multiple methods including NBR, invisible/illusion sew in methods, K-tips and Tape- In extensions.  She loves to lead + is passionate about coaching her team and her guests to practice their healthiest and wealthiest lifestyle all while having obsession with their hair. When you visit her salon + experience all she has to give you will know first hand how TEAL is set apart from your typical salon.

LYDIA DEYLE
Level 4 Hair + Makeup Artist, Wedding Coordinator

Lydia has been following her passion for the beauty industry for the last 10 years. And almost all of those years have been with the team at Teal. Starting as an assistant, she has worked her way up to a senior stylist position, as well as wedding coordinator and now educator for our in salon training program. She loves taking classes outside the salon and keeping up with what’s going on in the industry whether it be trends, techniques, or business.

Her favorite services to perform in salon are lived in color services. She loves creating low maintenance, dimensional color that makes clients look and feel amazing. She also specializes in wedding hair and makeup. It’s actually one of the reasons she wanted to join the beauty industry.

She loves traveling to all different locations across New England and being part of helping someone look and feel their best on such a special day. When she’s not behind the chair she loves spending time with her family, being by the water, and watching the housewives on Bravo.

JULIA BENANITO
Level 4 Hair + Makeup Artist

Julia has always dreamed of being stylist. She loves the creative outlet and happiness that is brought out in the process. She soon discovered her passions which include bridal, extensions and balayage.

Julia’s individuality shows through her edgy style, She wears whatever makes her happy that day. Anyone who knows her well knows she has always had a love for vintage VW buses. When you sit in her chair you will get someone who is an extremely good listener. Even though she is more of an introvert, she loves to be with people. Her main goal with every guest is to make their hair dream come to life.

DEVIN PAOLUCCI
Level 4 Hair + Makeup Artist

Devin is a professional hairstylist and makeup artist with 10+ years of experience. As a stylist, Devin has a gift for making each client’s overall experience one to remember. Her sweet personality and love for Halloween is unforgettable. She loves snuggling with her Lab pup, Vinny & taking day trips to Salem while supporting the locals shops, all with a green juice in hand!

In studio, Devin uses her education and creativity to inspire each client’s individual look. Her primary focuses include: balayage + dimensional color and extensions. She is a master with customizing a color pallet that will compliment each guest with a style to turn heads. She is always up for a challenge and will always take it on with a smile.

ERIN BUCKLEY
Level 3 Hair + Makeup Artist

Meet Erin!

In the salon she loves to balayage, highlights and to explore all aspects of color. She is a Bellami certified extension artist. She specializes in weft and k-tip extensions! Her favorite part about being a stylist is the  interaction and creativity she gets to experience each and every day with her guests. Priorities shine though with Erin as she is eager to make every client that sits in her chair love their hair and she is passionate about achieving their ultimate hair goal.

In her free time she likes to spend time with her friends + boyfriend as they look for new adventures and try new restaurants along the way.  She loves to spend her summer down the cape tanning and living in the ocean!

Erin's main goal with every guest is to make them fall in LOVE with their hair while keeping their hair healthy and the integrity intact, or BETTER! Erin would love for you to come and sit in her chair if she feels like the right fit for you.

LEAH NEWCOMBE
Level 1 Hair + Makeup Artist

After 8 years of office administration and management, Leah decided it was time for a change and chose to pursue her career behind the chair.

The atmosphere, creativity and unique experiences with our guests are what she loves most about being in the salon.
She just recently achieved getting licensed in cosmetology and will be working on her skill set to expand them, being especially interested in men’s haircuts, color and extensions.

When she’s not working on her craft, Leah loves to cook and spend time with her fiancé and two german shepherds, Zahra and Bowie.

KRISTINA KORTISSES
Training Level Stylist + Curl Specialist

Kristina loves curls and amazingly long hair. She is one of our certified curl specialists and is weft extension certified, which are her favorite services in the salon. When Kristina is not in the salon, she dedicates her spare time educating herself on various techniques and studying the science of hair, acquiring the knowledge of what is needed for various curls/textures. This also transmits to other services she offers such as color & blonding since she is filled with hair health knowledge, which is her first priority for every client.

Her favorite part is making her clients feel their most confident in knowing they’ve received an outstanding, personalized experience and hair that will continue to look good long after leaving her chair. She not only loves hair, but loves educating others to fall in love with their own hair. She offers realistic suggestions while maintaining her clients preferences. The versatility and creative potential of each client's hair makes everyday interesting. Your experience with Kristina will definitely be one of a kind leaving you feeling amazing.

ALEXIA PERIN
Training Level Stylist + Makeup Artist

Meet Alexia, a dedicated young stylist whose passion for hair knows no bounds. She loves to make every client feel their absolute best. Beyond the salon chair, she's constantly staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques. As she grows within the industry she is absolutely LOVING blonding and dimensional color along with extensions. With her warm personality and keen eye for detail, Alexia's clients not only leave looking fabulous but feeling confident too. For her, hair isn't just a job—it's a lifelong passion she's grateful to share with others.

When she’s not in the salon, Alexia loves spending time with her bulldog Jedi and relaxing with her friends and family.

ABBY BROWN
Training Level Stylist

Meet Abby! She is currently a student at Lowell Academy Hairstyling Institute, expected to graduate December 2023. She has always looked up to my aunt and cousin who are both incredibly talented hairstylists. Watching them throughout her life has inspired her to start her journey as a hairstylist. She loves getting to know her clients and having conversations with them while making them look and feel amazing. She loves being surrounded by people who are also so passionate about the industry and finds it so inspiring and positive to be around. She loves to learn new things and having a hands on experience, which are two things that will always be a part of her career. She cannot wait to see what this industry has for her and is excited to continue her education and career at TEAL.

When she is not working with hair, she loves spending time with her friends, family and her cat Winnie. She loves the outdoors and exploring new places whenever she has the chance.

EMMA YOUNG

Meet Emma!

While the hair industry is not something she is looking to peruse, she adores the warm, welcoming atmosphere of TEAL, as well as all the people who fill it! Her sweet and upbeat demeanor is always looking for fun around the salon! Normally you can catch Em making fun TikTok’s and content for our Instagram page!

When Emma is not at the studio, she enjoys taking up new adventures with her friends, spending time with her family and obsessing over her golden retriever, Bentley … all while having a Starbucks refresher in hand!

MAIYA
Training Level Stylist

Maiya is a bubbly, passionate young stylist who wants to make her guests look and feel their best in her chair. She loves dimensional color along with bridal hair and makeup. She is looking to expand her knowledge and learn from the best here at TEAL so that she too can specialize in these areas! She is constantly participating in education and learning new techniques. She wants to soak up all the information she can get to make her a better stylist for her guests.

If she isn't in the salon she is likely at her dance studio. Maiya is a competitive dancer, and competes several weekends throughout the year, in various styles of dance. She has amazing, supportive family and friends who she loves to spend quality time with. In the summer she spends her time at the beach, at the lake, and in the backyard getting a good tan!

MARISSA
Level 3 Stylist + Curl Specialist

Marissa is a new resident to the New England area from New Jersey and she is so excited to continue her career in Lowell!

Marissa knows what it's like to be overwhelmed by the hustle mentality and how we are bombarded with information daily. She is here to sort it all out for you. Please, take a breath and relax. Nothing lights her up more than providing her guests with effortless hair and a major confidence boost!

Marissa has been a stylist for 5 years and she has never been more in love with her craft. She specializes in lived in color, color transformations and curl cuts. She’s here to curate a personalized hair care routine that caters to your needs and works for your lifestyle now and in between visits to keep you looking beautiful all year round.

When she’s not in the salon she’s exploring the area, from hiking to trying new restaurants, she’s always looking for new and exciting experiences. When she’s feeling low key, she loves to spend her time with a good book.
