Alliyah has been with Teal since July 31, 2024, and she’s quickly become a guest favorite. Her specialties include curl cuts and lightening services, where her passion and skill truly shine. On her days off, you’ll likely find her sipping a latte☕ or enjoying good food with friends and family.

Lydia joined our team on August 25, 2015, bringing with her a passion for creating stunning blondes and unforgettable bridal looks. As our dedicated bridal coordinator, she ensures every detail is perfect for your big day. With years of experience and a calm, caring approach, Lydia helps brides feel their most beautiful and confident.

Outside the salon, Lydia enjoys spending time with her 14-year-old son and unwinding with outdoor walks. Her go-to treat? A matcha latte.

At Teal, we're proud to partner with Green Circle Salons to ensure that every bit of waste from your service — including foils, excess color, hair, gloves, and spa materials — is properly recycled.

💇‍♀️ 62,000 pounds of hair end up in landfills every day in North America.
🌊 A 6-stylist salon washes 200 pounds of excess color down the drain each year — polluting our waterways.
🧴 Foils and spa waste often go straight to the trash.

We're changing that. With Green Circle, this waste gets repurposed into clean energy, water filtration, compost, and even bioplastics. 💚

Visit Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Housed in a Venetian-style palazzo designed to resemble a 15th-century Venetian palace, the museum was founded by art collector and philanthropist Isabella Stewart Gardner in 1903. One Layer Strawberry Shortcake 🍰

Ingredients

Cake

• 1 1/4 cup cake flour

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1 Teaspoon baking powder

• 1/4 cup unsalted butter

• 2/3 cup sugar

• 1 teaspoon vanilla

• 1/2 cup whole milk

• 1 large egg

• 2 tablespoon oil

Whipped cream

• 1 cup heavy cream

• 2 tablespoon confectioners' sugar

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

• Strawberries (topping)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350

2. Add flour, sugar, baking powder,salt in a stand mixer

3. Then add 1/4 cup milk, butter vanilla and mix on medium speed for a minute

4. Add eggs, remaining milk and oil

5. Mix for 30 more seconds 

6. Pour batter into lined 9 inch round pans or greased 

7. Bake for 20-22 minutes 

8. Let cool for 5 minutes 

9. Make whipped cream

10. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla for 3 minutes

11. Apply whipped cream on cooled cake and top with sliced strawberries
